Humanodoro Wins the Fourth Edition of the Business Gladiator Program

Humanodoro, an app designed to help users reduce phone addiction, has won the fourth edition of the entrepreneurial program Business Gladiator.

Five finalists pitched their ideas at the grand finale held at Knjižnica Mirana Jarca in Novo Mesto. In addition to the expert jury, event visitors also had the opportunity to vote for their favorite project.

Prior to the final event, another entrepreneurial gathering, the Arena of Entrepreneurial Competencies, took place as part of the program, as announced by the Razvojni center Novo mesto.

The Expert Jury

During the evening ceremony, three awards were presented. The expert jury consisted of Aleš Čadež, investor at Silicon Gardens and founder and CEO of Kaldi; Nina Dremelj, President of the Business Angels of Slovenia; and Rok Primožič, co-founder of the successful Dolenjska-based startup Bubble Labs, which itself emerged from the Business Gladiator program.

The Winning Idea

The jury was most impressed by the story and vision presented by Kristjan Stopar and Urban Košale from Humanodoro.

The winning idea is a smart pad designed to help overcome phone addiction, accompanied by a mobile app. The concept encourages users to minimize phone usage and establish healthier digital habits.

"Our winning idea is a smart pad for overcoming phone addiction, supported by an app. The concept is simple: it encourages people to use their phones less and build a healthy habit," said Kristjan Stopar, as stated in the official press release.

Humanodoro's victory highlights the growing importance of digital wellbeing solutions and behavioral technology that supports healthier relationships with devices.
